Mike was the U.S. Shadow Representative and was even arrested on Capitol Hill while fighting an Obama-GOP deal that would have gutted local reproductive rights. Mike will bring that same passion to the DNC.
Restore Faith in Democrats
It's time to demonstrate to all voters that Democrats are the party to solve problems and fix economic anxiety and affordability issues. Mike knows Democrats can't just defend government — they need to make it work.
Win Back Voters
Democrats have lost their way with Latinos, working-class voters, rural Americans, young men, and small business owners. Mike knows the party needs to address their needs to give them something to vote for.
Compete Everywhere
Democrats have become essentially noncompetitive in rural areas that once elected conservative Democrats. Mike will make sure the DNC doesn't give up before voters even show up to the polls.
